Looks like plastic, isn't — this soap dish is molded from cornstarch and bamboo fiber instead, with a removable bamboo grid insert that lifts your bar soap up off standing water. Pull the grid out whenever the dish needs a quick clean underneath.

Sized to work with a standard bar of soap, but also fits solid dishwashing blocks, shampoo bars, sponges, or scrubbers if you want one dish to do double duty. Measures 5" x 3-3/8" x 1" thick, with a 2-1/4" x 4" inset area. Ships without packaging beyond what's needed to protect it in transit, and composts or breaks down naturally at the end of its life.
